‘H’ will be greatly missed by
family and friends

He enjoyed cycling for many years,
Turning wheels and changing gears.
He toured through France and Spain,
He went out in sun and rain.
Along the pilgrimage route he did go
All the way to Santiago.
Two weeks it took him to descend
From John O’Groats to Land’s End.
He completed a stage of the Tour de France
Pretending he was just like Lance.
He conquered the mountains of the Pyrenees
Powering up the hills with his knobbly knees.
He cycled all over our beautiful Devon,
Now he will be pedalling up to heaven.
